Description

Here we have a full set of FLYING NUN RECORDS TRADING CARDS from New Zealand, dated 1991. These cards were put out to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Flying Nun Records label, an independent punk rock label which was started in 1981 in Christchurch, New Zealand - and they are still putting out records today! I believe these cards to be super rare, as I have not been able to find any other copies for sale on eBay or Amazon.
There are 42 cards are in this set, featuring custom art of various bands represented by this famous indie label, including the Verlaines, Tall Dwarves, The Chills, The Bats, Straitjacket Fits, and many more, along with notes about the New Zealand music and video scene. They come packed in a plastic cassette case, which is a nice touch.

The cards are in very good condition, and the colors are crisp and clear. All have been carefully stored in smoke-free conditions.

I am not an expert on trading cards, but have done my best to describe and photograph these. Please ask any questions you have before you bid!

My auction has a low opening bid, no reserve, and FREE SHIPPING - so bid early, and bid often!

Thank you.
