FOLKAL POINT, RAREST FEMALE FOLK ORIGINAL 1972 12" LP
Record: Stereo, Midas red label with silver printing, catalogue number MR 003. Overall the record is in fantastic condition.
At the outer rim of side 2 there is a slightly dull arc approximately 2" x 1/4", which does not affect the audible sound quality.
Sleeve: Excellent intact condition with very slight minor discolouration towards spine.
Folkal Point's first recording and unquestionably the most sought after UK Folk LP of all time. Very rarely available - possibly only the second time offered on eBay.
Cherie Musialik is lead singer. Stuart Amesbury and Brian Murray (bass) provide a backing duet with Stuart doubling on rhythm guitar,
Martin Steed is lead guitar with Paul Cook on guitar filling the gap between lead and rhythm guitars. A well balanced collection of songs,
which easily justifies its presence in any serious folk record collection.
Side One: Twelve Gates into the City, Scarborough Fair, Sweet Sir Galahad, Lovely Joan, Circle Game, Cookoo's Hollerin.
Side Two: Edom O'Gordon, Victoria Dines Alone, You Aint Going Nowhere, Anathea, National Seven, Once I Knew a Pretty Girl.
At this value we automatically insure the record in transit for its full purchase price and will add a flat-rate charge of £5.00 to cover the insurance cost.
PACKING:
When posted the records are removed from the covers and placed in a PVC outer protective sleeve to stop sleeve splits whilst in transit.
We normally use new top quality mailers and ensure a high exacting packaging standard is maintained.
