Description
Prestige Folklore 14023, “Folklore Jamboree” with a panoply of early ‘60s artists including Dave Van Ronk, Bonnie Dobson, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Geoff Muldaur, Eric von Schmidt, Tom Rush, Peggy Seeger, Brownie McGhee & Sonny Terry, Jesse Fuller, Keith & Rooney, and the Charles River Valley Boys; from 1964. This is an original sealed copy and is presumed mint; the heavy jacket is like new with the shrink torn at the bottom. Prestige Folklore was one of the great imprints from the heady days of the folk revival; this is one of a sequenced set of Prestige folk LPs listed this week, many of which feature the incomparable Fritz Richmond on homemade bass. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $16.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 additional within U.S. and Canada, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $11.75 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
