Crackin' great single, incredibly rare... this is on a couple of wants lists and to those who know it, a definate must have ska/fusion private pressing, a mismatch of sounds coming together for some great ska... "It's The Wouluff" good uptempo instrumental ska (with a few shouts), plenty of brass, with a smattering of folk violin/country fiddle... great fusion of the old hillbilly and ska... and I never thought I'd ever say that! "Food Poisoning" accordions fiddles and the regular ska sounds with reasonable vocals. "Forest Hill Ska", what a journey, some interesting accordion, fiddles... and for a moment I was at a Mexican fiesta... good long track.
This private pressing from 1986 is virtually impossible to find these days, this copy comes in its original sleeve, this is a little worn, but no major damage, no rips or tears. The back of the sleeve has two names written upon it, one is 'JANE' in big scrawl... don't know about this, but the other is smaller more discreet, illegible with a 'x' after it... I kinda assume this is a band member... so to 'Jane' could be .
