Legendary melody punk classic from Canada, released in 1982. Complete with printed inner sleeve. Old eBay prices: €59 + $50. The brilliant first album by the great FORGOTTEN REBELS entitled THIS AIN’T HOLLYWOOD. Pressed on ‘Star’ records in 1982 (catalogue number SR 002). This longplayer includes both tracks from their first 7“ titled ‘Rhona Barrett’ and ‘Tell Me You Love Me’. You can also hear fantastic songs like ‘England Keep Yer Stars’ / ‘The Me Generation’ / ‘Dont Hide Your Face’ / ‘Surfing On Heroin’ and so on. This rarity was released in two different picture covers. This is the live-on-stage sleeve. In addition, here's the comment from the great FLEX website (Hardcore Punk discography):


  • Their 12” features the tried formula again; rough but very melodic punk rock with great melodies, influenced by UK bands or the Ramones, plus the cynical lyrics. [8]

  • Sehr poppiger 77er-Punk-Rock mit tollen Melodien; Einflüsse sind natürlich die Ramones, aber auch englische 77-Bands; dabei klingen die Rebels noch eine ganze Ecke rauher als die manchmal doch etwas glatten Vorbilder.
