This is an ORIGINAL 1970 STEREO FIRST U.S. PRESSING of the one and only self-titled LP from the Jefferson Airplane-style Boston 'psych' outfit The Fort Mudge Memorial Dump. It is a U.S. Mercury label LP. catalog number SR-61256. Like the original Jefferson Airplane, The Fort Mudge Memorial Dump is a five-piece outfit with female singer Caroline Stratton and two other singers. There is nice dual lead guitar work on some of the tracks - Tracks are: Mr. Man, Crystal Forms, Actions Of A Man, Blue's Tune, The Seventh Is Death, What Good Is Spring?, Tomorrow, Know Today, Questionable Answer, The Singer. Condition of record is a STONE SOLID NM with all original gloss and no visible surface marks. Condition of gatefold cover is conservatively VG+/VG++ with the only real flaw being some wear right along the edges and on the corners - there is no writing, splits, tears, or stickers. An nice addition to any late 1960s 'psych' record collection!
