Description
I bought this album myself, new on its release, after hearing the band in a strikingly impressive concert on BBC Radio1 in 1970.
This beautiful work, with the late, much missed English singer, Sandy Denny is in "Excellent" condition - going by the categories defined below - with hardly any visual evidence of having been played. Clearly, the record has been played, but not for a good number of years. Some crackling at start and end of sides, in between tracks and occasionally, during tracks, but no jumps or other serious noise. I put this down to the quality of the vinyl used in manufacturing by then, rather than mishandling. Visually it is difficult to see why there is crackling.
The cover is rated "Very Good+". The inner sleeve is in good condition, but discoloured with age and creased at the corners. However, I always provide a mint modern replacement, for the next owner, anyway.
I think my ratings are honest, based on the - to me peculiar - standard criteria in widespread use in this market, but any return of the album in same condition will see you refunded as terms herein.
I am 71 now, so someone else can benefit from the LP's careful possession and treatment.

Vinyl condition
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Record sleeve condition
Excellent - The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
