This collection, entitled 2nd Vault of Golden Hits, clearly shows the long-standing and productive success of this exuberant group, granting listeners a second volume of greatest hits. The fans can be blessed with such rich harmonies, lush melodies, and percussive and witty musicianship, with smash tunes such as "Sherry," "Walk Like a Man," "Candy Girl," and "Big Girls Don't Cry" soaring off the record. Other huge radio hits include the driving "Working My Way Back to You" and "Opus 17." Bob Crewe takes the credit for producing a fine recording and leading the band and their unlimited creative potential in the right direction. Lesser-known singles include the beach sound of "Marlena," the amiable "Peanuts" song, and the charm and energy of "Connie-O." This is the artistic expression of the Four Seasons, a talented group who with experience and a loyal fan base know how to play powerful melodies with Beatlesque  harmonies and great energy. A must for the '60s music listener and avid fan of classic oldies rock. A fresh cover of Cole Porter's "I've Got You Under My Skin" shows the group's dexterity during their heyday.

Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(c)           The record is believed to come in its original stock inner sleeve.

(d)          Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
