This auction is for FOUR fantastic albums by Black Sabbath, one of the pioneers of Heavy Metal, and Ozzy Osbourne’s claim to fame outside reality TV! The albums in the collection are:

  • Black Sabbath – the legendary first album from 1970. This has the inner gate-fold sleeve featuring an inverted cross with a poem written inside of it. It is featured in the list of 100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time. The record appears in excellent condition. There is some wear to the bottom of the front cover. On NEMS label, this will not disappoint the collector. Side ONE: Black Sabbath; The Wizard; Behind the Wall of Sleep; N.I.B. Side TWO: Evil Woman, Don’t Play Your Games With Me; Sleeping Village; Warning
  • Paranoid – considered by many to be the best Black Sabbath album, this was also released in 1970. This has the gatefold sleeve. The record appears in excellent condition. There is some marking on the label with the track listing – not sure if this is intentional.   • Master of Reality – considered by many to be the foundation of doom & stoner metal, this was released in 1971. The record appears in excellent condition.   • Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath – the fifth album, released in 1973, saw Black Sabbath extend their music with more complex orchestral arrangements. With this album, mainstream music press began reviewing the band favourably for the first time. The record appears in excellent condition. I will be listing a number of records over the next month. I no longer have a player but will do my best to give an accurate visual grading. Local pick up is welcome (from Highett, Melbourne) but I am also happy to post – records will be well wrapped in protective cardboard.
