FRANCOISE / ESTATE A CAPRI ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by FRANCO CRESCENZO PROJECT MICRESOUND with SIMONA B. MOORE. Original German pressing on MORA RECORDS label (FCO 7911.16), from circa mid '70s. Super-obscure 45 from the cosmic Italian conga player with maverick backing group and sexy lead singer. FRANCOISE is Crescenzo's sleazy homage to the Serge Gainsbourg / Histoire de Melody Nelson funk anthem with sexy vocals in French (and Italian) / boom bap hip hop drums / spiritual jazz piano / flute and moody basslines a la 'San Me Kyttas' (the Yannis Spanos Ekeino To Kalokairi Greek soundtrack film theme). Subtle yet killer tempo changes midway, where the hi hats really come alive before sliding back into the trippy main theme. Great for DJs. Released only in Germany but everything about this project has Italian roots. Superb label artwork and cool image of Franco and Simona on the sleeve. A far more elusive item than his Lp too. Rare 45!!!   

Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with some light hairlines. Light surface noises. The soft card picture sleeve is in VG+ condition with general ring wear / dirt marks and creasing from storage. Wear to corners and edges. Rare 45!!!
