Greetings and Welcome to my Auction
Description:
Here we have a rare opportunity to buy 'The Capitol Years', a 20 LP box set of Frank Sinatra's time at Capitol, on vinyl.
Forget the CD collection, on a decent set up Turntable these will sound so much warmer than the digital box set and will last for many more years if looked after.
If you would like to see any more pictures or any other information, then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
At the price I'm asking, each LP works out at £3.75 each!
Condition:
Five of the Albums are perfect, with no damage to any of the sides:
- Swingin' Session!!!
- Where Are You?
- Come DAnce With Me!
- In The Wee Small Hours (This has a water mark on the bottom left corner-back also, about 1 1/2" in diameter)
- Point Of No Return
Another five albums have some damage, approximately one inch long directly in the middle of the top of the cover:
- No One Cares
- Songs for Swingin' Lovers!
- Songs For Young Lovers (this has some slight damage along the spine approx. half an inch long)
- All the WaySwing Easy
Two albums have damage to the top and bottom of the covers along the edge, again about an inch long:
- Nice 'n' Easy
- Close To You
The remaining eight albums are perfect on the top edge, but have the same damage as the rest along the bottom edge, between one and two inches long:
- Look To Your Heart
- Only The Lonely
- This Is Sinatra!
- Come Swing With Me!
- Come Fly With Me
- A Swingin' Affair! (this has some slight damage along the spine approx. half an inch long)
- This Is Sinatra-Volume Two
- Sinatra Sings...Of Love And Things
Some of the albums have some very, very slight marks on the rear covers, with some of them you have to hold them to the light to see.
Each record itself though is near mint, which is the main thing, some haven't been played at all, the others all play beautifully without any sctatches or marks present. The box has some superficial marks here and there, but nothing major.
I'm probably being over picky, but when you can't actually see the item yourself it's near impossible to tell and I hate for you to be disappointed when you opened the box up.
Picture two is typical of the damage along the sides, which was probably caused by something like sellotape.

The box set will be sent via City Link, using their next day service in the U.K and for all other destinations using FedEx World Economy service.
Each item is carefully weighed, so that you only pay for the actual weight, plus packaging, I do not make any profit from postage whatsoever. If I use recycled materials then of course I won't charge for this and will be reflected in the P&P price. All items will be packaged as securely as possible, all items will be insured, but unfortunately I cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage incurred by the postal services, you will have to contact the courier for any such claims.
