On offer is a copy of the scarce FRANK ZAPPA box set BEAT THE BOOTS which was given limited edition release by Rhino in 1991.

The box set contains 6 single LP’s and 2 double LP’s – ten LP’s in all. The material spans a 15 year period from September, 1967 to May 1982.

Zappa who was sick of being bootlegged (illegally released live recordings) decided to bootleg the bootleggers. He did a pretty good job. Even the cover art fits beautifully.

Some great live material for Zappa fans.

The box set comes with a T-shirt and a badge.

Inside the box is a stand up diorama showing Zappa and band on stage and an excited audience (see pic).

The LP’s are unplayed/mint. The T-shirt is unworn.

The box has some light signs of handling and some surface creases. There is a light mark on the front. The diorama has a couple of small tears where the back cover folds up.

Overall a great copy.
