FRANK ZAPPA Captain Beefheart Mothers Bongo LIVE 1975 Discreet DS-2234 Promo.
Album is collector/audiophile grade, cover is AVG+/GOOD condition. Jacket shows average wear for an item of its vintage not limited to: light ringwear, ding on front left top corner, paper overlay separation on back cover towards spine, 1-inch split center of top edge (does NOT go through cover), small $2.99 secondhand (dollar/hardware store tiny) from San Francisco's late legendary Aquarius Records. Transparent factory artist/title sticker and vibrant pink PROMO sticker. Plain inner sleeve. Disc is in SUPERB condition, CLEAN with LOW playing time. The Aquarius sticker is on Side 1 and likely an easy remove with a little naphtha. Pictures are of actual copy, NOT stock photos, and intend to highlight what flaws there may be, NOT to hide them. All pieces sold AS IS so ask any reasonable questions prior to auctions close.
I’m selling the LP collection of a family friend. As one of the original used buyers at Amoeba San Francisco I’m well-suited to trading albums, and the quality of the vinyl condition is something I rarely saw at the buy counter there. The original owner purchased most new and only listened to them a short number of times before recording to reel-to-reel tape. Although well stored over the years, the quality of most covers is in the average to above range. In all but a few cases you will be blown away by the condition of the discs, if medium whelmed by the jackets. As a professional reseller I would place this collection at B+ overall, with the vinyl graded closer to A-/NM. Shipping may be combined on multiple orders.
