Next year, in 2024, marks the FORTY FIFTH anniversary of legendary rock genius Frank Zappa's epic triple album set 'Joe's Garage'. Zappa was was of the most prolific, influential, and just downright wild and crazy musical artists of the last 60 years! Zappa became somewhat of a political activist before he died, but was all about common sense. He even ran for president once! (Though I'm not exactly sure if he was 100% serious about that. I'd totally vote for him if he was still around today!) 'Joe's Garage' is filled with different types of music, sometimes in the same song! It's silly and amazing at the same time. In other words, a typical Frank Zappa album!

Frank Zappa lost his battle with prostate cancer THIRTY years ago, almost to the day, on 12/4/1993. (RIP Frank. You influenced so many others, and many great musicians came from your bands. Your wit and talent are missed!) In 2018, by way of Barking Pumpkins Records, a special, limited edition 7" picture disc was released for the song "Joe's Garage'', and backed with "Central Scrutinizer" on the flipside  (Frank is the Central Scrutinizer who narrates the story.)

The artwork on the A side is taken from the album itself, and the B side is the FBI logo and an anti-piracy warning banner draped across. That may be satire, as Zappa was strongly against censorship in music, and even appeared at a congressional hearing with other musicians (such as Dee Snider and John Denver) against censorship!

This comes in its original clear PVC jacket, which is split on one side (no surprise there!), but holding up well. Hype sticker pasted to inside of jacket. Released in 2015, and made in the Czech Republic (Czechia). Bought new, but was never factory sealed. I never played it, so it's still all shiny and clean! A really rare and cool Zappa collectible to have or give as a gift. Any Zappa fan would love this under the tree this year! The gift of music is always one of the best gifts of all. Or grab Joe, and take him home with you today. At this price, he won't be around for long ('cause he's headed to the garage...to jam!)
