Description
FRANK ZAPPA - "Sheik Yerbouti" 2-LP TEST PRESSING of the eventual 1979 LP (Zappa 1501) with 2 production sheets - all in VG++ to NM condition.
Description/Condition:
VERY RARE "Test Pressing" by Columbia Records of FRANK ZAPPA's "Sheik Yerbouti" double LP, eventually released in 1979. Comes with a program sheet for each disc, both of which are housed in plain white jackets that have been written on by the prior owner (or possibly the manufacturer). Also comes with a (5) page stapled lyric sheet (has light stain on the right border). The records have plain white labels that have been written on (someone indicated which are the 'A' and 'C' sides, but that's it) and also have "MASTERDISK" machine stamped on the trail-off and the record matrix number scratched onto the trail-off area as well. The LPs appear to have been unplayed until I test graded them. The A/B side LP has a very light storage warp that does not affect play (the needle rises and falls slightly and slowly with each rotation - not a problem). Both records have a few light handling scuffs and grade from VG++ to NM. Be sure to SEE ALL (6) PHOTOS BELOW (please give photos time to load). This will be a NO RESERVE auction.
