FRANK ZAPPA Shut Up N Play Yer Guitar 3 LP Box Numbered Promo

LP Conditions:
LP1 - Shut Up N Play Yer Guitar EX to EX+
Played a mere three times since it's release in 1981 and at it's last play in 2011 had revealed no pops or surface noise, hence a wonderfully perfect play. However please note it is my belief this LP may have been pressed with recycled vinyl as when viewed under a bright light at a certain angle there is some kind of slight variations of color almost appearing as marks on both sides of this LP pressing that are clearly under the grooves and in no way affect play. This would indicate the vinyl quality at the time of pressing as being recycled, as was often done at various times by US record companies. The grooves themselves are gorgeous and the playback is Mint.

LP2 - Shut Up N Play Yer Guitar Some More EX to EX+
Like LP1 but a whole lot less markings overall on this record. Side One has barely any, Side Two has comparably more but not as much as either side of LP1. Side One here on track 3 appears to have a slight pressing flaw that does not affect play but is visible under intense scrutiny being veiwed under a bright light/certain angle.

LP3 - Return Of The Son Of Shut Up N Play Yer Guitar EX to EX+
Like LP1 & LP2 Side One here has the same markings that appear well under the grooves while Side Two has virtually none.

LP Label Condition: NM to EX+ for all as was originally purchased
Barking Pumpkin US Pressing.

Inner Sleeve Condition: EX-, in great cosmetic condition overall, very clean, no stains or tears however there does exist slight fine splits on all 3 connected sides of each of the LP inner sleeves.

Outer 3LP BOX Artwork Condition: EX to VG+
VG+ for the area of the printed spine (top) as pictured below otherwise EX+, this super glossy box can reveal the slightest handling and overall in a strong condition that opens up perfectly (like a book, just be sure to open it carefully from the right side).

Special Note About Grading Condition:
I try to be as meticulous and critical as possible when grading all aspects of LPs,
Grading is based on the Goldmine standard and is as follows:
“SS” Still Sealed – For the collector that demands nothing but perfection.
“M” Mint - a near perfect, or unplayed record.
“NM” Near Mint - in factory fresh condition, like new.
EX+ - close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play. Will satisfy all but the most vain and demanding collector.
EX - a used, reasonable copy. Shows slight signs of wear.
VG+ - There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility a few skuffs and/or light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still quite nice.
VG - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise,still plays great.
Good - In the record world, "Good" is not good! From here on down, we're talking about beat-up records!

Additional Information:
This BOX will be carefully & securely packaged for transport with some small scale bubble wrap placed inside the BOX itself to prevent the records from shifting about. Additionally, the BOX will be lightly covered with soft tyvek then padded again on both sides inside a professional grade mailer. LP BOX will be sent out within 24 hours of the end of the auction and will have a tracking number provided thereafter.
