The disc is in good condition along with the sound quality, there is minimal wear around the centre hole. The cover is in very good condition with very slight wear to the corners, there is slight discolouration around the back edges. Bought new in the early seventies. It has been stored away from light and dust in a plastic outer jacket.
The album was recorded live during a successful concert tour of Europe with the "New Mothers" Dan Preston organ/mini moog, Ian Underwood organ/sax, Ainsley Dunbar drums Jim Pons bass and Howard Kaylan and Mark volman vocals. There is no dates on the album or record but I would say it was recorded in 1972 or 1973. ( I was buying everything and anything Zappa from 1969 to 1975) The live recording quality could be sharper, but get beyond this and it is pure Zappa magic. As the sleeve notes end,"IN EUROPE, IS WHAT ZAPPA-MANIA IS ALL ABOUT!!! Listening to Zappa sing Dutch is pure genius.
