This version: 1st press UK stereo. (From first 300, with 1G stampers). 

Single laminated full-color flipback cover, unlaminated on back, with black only print. 

On the back cover the sides "1" & "2" are subtitled [as track-list], followed by: "3 Prune: Ray Collins 

The Mothers Of Invention play all their own musical backgrounds. The only exception on this disc 

is 'Brown Shoes Don't Make It' where they have added 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 'cello, 1 trumpet and 1 contra-bass clarinet".

 Frank Zappa's liner notes for Freak Out! name-checked an enormous breadth of musical and intellectual influences, 

and he seemingly attempts to cover them all on the second Mothers of Invention album, Absolutely Free. 

Leaping from style to style without warning, the album has a freewheeling, almost schizophrenic quality, encompassing 

everything from complex mutations of "Louie, Louie" to jazz improvisations and quotes from Stravinsky's Petrushka.

Absolutely Free is still a fabulously inventive record, bursting at the seams 

with ideas that would coalesce into a masterpiece with Zappa's next project...(AllMusic)
