Description

This is a rare US first pressing double LP of Freak Out!, the classic debut album by Frank Zappa & the Mothers of Invention.

Comes in a gatefold sleeve. Please note that inside the gatefold sleeve has the 'Freak-Out Hot-Spots' poster offer, which was only printed on the first issue sleeves.


"Tableaus" appears as part of the song title on the label for the track on Side D. On the inside of the gatefold it is spelt "Tableaux". Again, this is only found on first pressings.
Includes both original Verve inner sleeves.

Disc 1 - Side 1 is VG+ with a 3 light hairline marks on side 1. Side 2 is EX - clear and shiny. There is some label damage on side 2 - see pics.

Disc 2 is VG with a number of light marks on both sides. Plays with some crackling. There is some label damage on side 4 - see pics.

Cover - Good. There is some ringwear on both front & rear of the sleeve. Small sticker removal mark near the title on the front cover. Please note that there are seam splits along top and bottom edges which have been repaired with sellotape.  Please see pics, and feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

 

I use the Record Collector grading system which grades records from Mint to Poor. I aim to grade conservatively and fairly - check my feedback which reflects this. However, I recognise that grading can be subjective and one man's EX can be another man's Good, so please contact me if you would like to clarify any issues with condition.
