Original German pressing from 1956 on BRUNSWICK,10 059 EPB,black label with golden lettering.Rare EP playing at 45 rpm.

Recorded in Frankfurt,22.5.1956.This is a real early pressing dated “10.56” at it’s side,wich means pressed in October 1956,shortly after the recording  took place.”Vier Temperamente” is a four part-piece,each part features a different solist:1 has E.Mangelsdorff,2 has A.Mangelsdorff,3 has D.Gojkovic and 4 has J.Freund.Rare and essential document of Europe’s unique mid 50ies Jazz.Outstanding soli,highly recommended and hard to be found!Please look for the 1957 BRUNSWICK-EP “Freund-Mangelsdorff-Sextett/Same” plus rare EPs by Attila Zoller and H.Jankowski wich I offer in my auctions! 

Condition:the record looks shiny and clean,only under a strong light you will see a few short and tiny papersleeve-lines,visual mint-- to ex++.The two longest tracks,wich are the first tracks on both sides,play in mint- nearly all of the time,with just a few seconds playing in ex+.The extremely quiet second track/first side plays with slight background-crackling in ex- to vg+,the very short second track/second side plays the same,but better.

The cover has intact seam/spines with just a hint of slightest rub,the front is fine,the back is fine except for some little spots in the green part,overall mint--.I have stored the cleaned EP in a brandnew,plain white cover wich I have placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve,I did the same with the original cover.

Grading:this used record has been cleaned on a prof. cleaning machine.After that I playgraded it on a Rega Planar 9 with a Rega Super Elys moving magnet system and I also visually graded the record under a strong light.I give you a detailed description of both gradings.Only an unplayed record is mint,the highest grading for a used record is mint-! My basic gradings are:mint-ex-vg.As a free service,cleaned records are stored in a brandnew deluxe innersleeve and the cover will be placed in a brandnew PVC protection-sleeve!
