Description
This is an original U.S. pressing copy of the sole LP by psych/hard rock group the Frantic, released in 1970. The group formed as the Frantics in the mid-'60s in Billings, Montana, where they released a 45 pairing covers of "Route 66" and the Blue Things' "La-Do-Da-Da." They subsequently toured extensively, and spent time in New Mexico, NYC, and Colorado Springs, before settling in Los Angeles, where this LP was recorded. Songs they recorded in the late '60s while in New Mexico were released some years back on the Collectibles label. That material shows the band as an accomplished psych outfit. A couple of those songs were rerecorded for inclusion on this LP. The gatefold jacket has light ring and seam wear, and is otherwise close to pristine -- EX(+). The disc has a couple of light dings and some scuffing and loss of glossiness, and plays with mostly light surface noise and some light crackling (VG+).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
