DECIDED ON A COUPLE MORE DAYS OF BLUES LPs - This is a reasonably priced 1973 ARHOOLIE RECORDS U.S. STEREO PRESSING of the 1973 LP titled 'Keep Your Lamp Trimmed And Burning' with eleven live and studio acoustic blues tracks recorded betweeen 1964 and 1969 from Mississippi blues pioneer Mississippi Fred McDowell. It is Arhoolie Records U.S. catalog number 1068. Tracks: Introduction, I Heard Somebody Calling, Amazing Grace, Where Could I Go But To The Lord, Keep Your Lamp Trimmed And Burning, Bye And Bye, Dig My Grave With A Silver Spade, Don't Look For Me On A Sunday, Good Morning Little School Girl, Little Girl Little Girl, Levee Camp Blues. Condition of play surface is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks; there is a little writiing in red marker on one label. Condition of cover is a high VG+ with a little writing in red marker on the back cover, a few small wrinkles, a little ring and contact wear, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, tears, or stickers. This LP would make a nice addition to any blues record collection!
