He was a hugely influential singer/songwriter during the early days of the
New York Greenwich Village scene … probably best remembered for *Everybody’s Talkin’*
the theme for MIDNIGHT COWBOY, some time later. “His musical craft included, above all,
his omnipresent, bottomless low voice, and his effortless, haunting folk-blues 12-string guitar strumming.”
