FREDDIE STARR & MIDNIGHTERS WHO TOLD YOU Decca F 11663 JOE MEEK RGM
On auction is:
FREDDIE STARR and THE MIDNIGHTERS 45 rpm entitled WHO TOLD YOU c/w PETER GUNN LOCOMOTION released on DECCA F 11663 in 1963. Both sides of this 45 are RGM Sound Recording productions under the supervision of the celebrated independent producer - Joe Meek. The A side was co-written by Geoff Goddard – Joe Meek’s long term musical collaborator.
The record is housed in an original DECCA label company sleeve.
The record label is very nice and clean: there are a couple of faint blue biro marks on the B side label which are really hard to see as it is the same colour as the record label.
The disc is visually in nice EX-/VG+ condition.
I have test-played this 45 for this auction and it sounded fine on my BOSE hi-fi system.
