FREDDY LINDQUIST 'Menu' LP (Norway, Pan Records, Catalogue #PALP 006-2) Brand new/unplayed copy of limited Pan Records label LP edition (edition of 300 copies only) of 1970 heavy psych rock LP by Norwegian guitarist Freddy Lindquist.
(NOTE: LIMITED EDITION OF 300 COPIES ONLY!)
'Freddy Lindquist had played with Beatnicks and Vanguards, two of the most famous Norwegian beat bands of the sixties. In 1969 he formed Jumbo, a promising heavy progressive outfit inspired by Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin. For reasons long forgotten, Lindquist quit halfway through the recording of their first album and began working on his solo album. This is excellent throughout with powerful tracks such as "Sundae Sellers" highlighted by Lindquist's superb fuzz guitar.' - Dag Erik Asbjornsen/Scented Gardens Of The Mind
