***I have recently acquired a large collection of collectable records in great condition; please keep checking my listings for additions. Due to the volume, I may not have time to play grade all of them as usual, but will happily do so on request. If a record hasn't been play graded, this will be clearly stated in the listing. Thanks for looking***

BEAUTIFUL E. J. DAY GATEFOLD SLEEVE / NM TO MINT AUDIO
MID-WEIGHT 115g VINYL
*FULL RELEASE DETAILS CAN BE FOUND BELOW THE PHOTO GALLERY
A GREAT LOOKING COPY WITH TOP AUDIO
CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: NEAR MINT; this has been completely play graded from start to finish and both sides played through perfectly with a bright clear audio. Very occasional ultra-light static and the odd very light dust click here and there (both of which could be heard on a brand new record anyway). I do not use the Mint grade for a used record, but I imagine that this is as close to Mint as it gets. Superb audio throughout; sounded fantastic.
I haven't cleaned the record, but no doubt the sound could even improve if given the benefit of a professional clean.
VINYL VISUAL: NEAR MINT; the vinyl retains a beautiful first press sheen. I have looked very closely both under natural light and a halogen lamp and all that I can see are very light wispy sleeve removal marks + the odd ultra fine hairline. There are absolutely no spindle marks whatsoever (that I could see) suggesting that the record has been very seldom played at all. Fantastic.
LABELS: MINT; see above.
SLEEVE: EX(+)/NM; the unlaminated gatefold sleeve is a wonderful example. Just a few tiny, isolated age spots to the rear and a few small indentation marks here and there. The spine is almost perfect; it all looks great.
***INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING RATES APPEAR BELOW THE PHOTO GALLERY; THE DEFAULT RATE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE - PLEASE WAIT FOR MY INVOICE IF YOUR ORDER IS UNDER £50***

GRADING
Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself.
Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.
I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.
I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.
POSTAGE / SHIPPING
I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.
For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.
As a general rule, shipping costs will be discounted.
Shipping rates quoted are valid up to a total sale value of £2500 within the UK and £500 for overseas buyers.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
