Description
FREE - 'HIGHWAY.' STEREO.
UK 1st pressing on pink rim/palm tree ISLAND labels. ILPS 9138. (1970). Gorgeous upgrade condition. 132 gram vinyl.
This UK first press album is very hard to find anywhere near this sort of condition. Most are well played and others trashed. Such a great LP and a personal favourite from Free.
UK non-laminated sleeve grades EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) condition, possibly higher. Intact, fully legible spine - so rare for a sleeve of this fragility and prone-ness to wear. Very clean and solid condition with only very minor signs of handling and storage wear. Super nice! The sleeve has the band photo 'embossed' on the back.
The front of sleeve displays no major signs of ring wear. The spine is fully intact and legible with barely any wear at all. The reverse of the sleeve is also free of ring wear and any issues. This is in amazing condition considering the majority of copies I have seen.
Vinyl grades EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) to NEAR MINT (NM/M-) condition. Upgrade condition and a great example of this incredible sounding progressive bluesy-rock record - the band were at their absolute peak in my opinion. The ISLAND labels look amazing, clean and vibrant.
You will find it hard to locate a better example of both this sleeve and the record.
The winner will be really impressed with this copy. It sounds fantastic! My favourite FREE album and the fourth in their incredible run of albums.
Includes a patent number pale blue paper ISLAND inner sleeve with pink 'i' logo and the 'Basing Street, London W11' address, in Excellent to Excellent Plus condition.
Vinyl weight: 132 grams.
