Description
Interesting one off Factory Sample.I used to get batches of German singles-CBS/Island at an early stage when they were actually changing the releases after already making the sleeve
or with special demo sleeves.
Anyway as I can remember and from what the sleeve says this was as follows-
FREE-Stealer German Picture Sleeve single from 1970 on the pink i Island label. The quandry was on the B-side and release no.
The disc had B-side 'Lying In The Sunshine' whilst the sleeve says 'Songs Of Yesterday' and all titles on the sleeve have been
crossed out and the CHICAGO-25 or 6 to 4 penned in over it.Also remember Santana being involved and these were CBS bands normally
but at the time in Germany there appeared to be a cross over between Island and CBS.
Sleeve still looking good but disc looks well used.Interesting item for any Free collector.
