Title: Tons Of Sobs

I purchased this some time ago as "mint/as new".  Without doubt it is really a very nice copy but a couple of fairly minor points knock it down to a very strong excellent. The 1st is a very small nick to the bottom left corner that I had never noticed until I took the above photographs - nothing as serious as a deletion cut, I suspect it may be a manufacturing flaw: check out the photos, it can't be seen from inside the gatefold. The second is that there is some very minor background noise in the quiet intro to side one and in a couple of other places. I don't want to over state this as at a cursory glance it would be reasonable to grade it as mint.

3rd pressing of title, on pink rim Island label. This is the first EMI pressing mastered and cut by George Peckham with A-3U/B-3U matrix numbers.

Sleeve: Gatefold, wrap-around image, unlaminated inside & outside. Full color outside, sepia inner.
"Island Records Limited 155-157 Oxford Street London W1 England"
"Printed and made by Ernest J. Day & Co Ltd., London, W11"

Please note that I have tried to identify any possible minor shortcomings on the photographs. Along with the following details, I have tried to provide sufficient information for you to make an informed choice regarding bidding. Money back guarantee.

A bit about me:

It was 1960: I was eight. My cousin joined the Air Force and gave me his collection of 45’s: a great selection including Elvis and Buddy Holly. Usurping the family Dansette, I became well and truly hooked. By 1964/5 I was also seeing some of my favourite artist live. At the age of 11 I joined by first band playing music on and off over the subsequent years that also gave me experience of working in recording studios. Music is in my blood.
Over the last few years I have been selling on EBay and Amazon and accrued feedback that reflects a commitment to customer service and honesty.

What customers say:

Usually I'm lazy and can't be bothered to leave feedback. But I definitely will in this case. Someone who can actually grade properly? A real rarity. Truly nice item I'll definitely be keeping. Heavy duty....

Received LP today. Very well packaged. It certainly is in remarkable condition. I've never seen one like this in 40 years of collecting. Looks like it was kept in a vault since it was released. Like buying it new in 1967. Incredible.

I literally could not be happier with the despatch, packing and delivery of my item, which exceeded all expectation. The album itself was in pristine condition, absolutely as described, and had obviously been treated with great care during it's time with PiC. Unreservedly recommended.

Record received quickly and in excellent condition as advertised + well protected from damage in transit. No problems whatsoever, a highly recommended vendor.
Pigg in clover have got to be the quickest service I've received - do they sleep - well pleased and will certainly use again.

Super fast Shipping, very nicely packed and perfect item, as described. Another great buy from pigginclover, look forward to the next purchase! A++++

The quality of the vinyl is great. - And it arrived almost a week before I was told it would. I'm highly recommending this seller.
