Description
Freedoms Children: "Battle Hymn Of The Broken-Hearted Horde" 1969, South Africa/Parlophone PCSJ12049. Disc is covered with scuffs and hairlines, it looks like it was stored carelessly for a long period or perhaps stacked up on one of those neanderthal "record changers" with other records (remember those things?), plays with a constant crackle but no skips, it gets a Fair grade. Name written on one label in ballpoint. Cover has no splits but the lamination has peeled badly and some was actually pulled away, leaving rough areas in the artwork. There's a dedication written inside the gatefold. This cover gets a Fair grade. First and rarest LP by these acid visionaries, it's a pop concept LP and might be the most ambitious LP ever from the era. There are a few heavy collectors who rate this as the crown jewel of the early progressive movement. Not a mint copy on offer but these aren't exactly easy to find.

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
