Description

Legendary French Music Hall singer Yvette Gulibert, was was immortalised by the painter Toulouse-Lautrec, sings two remarkable sides from the late 19th century! She sings 'Le Petit Cochone' and 'Partie Carree' on Vertical-cut, inside start, etched label 11" Pathe, nos. 1451 and 1461. There is some uncertainty over whether these sides were made in 1897 or 1898, but either way they are exceptionally early disc recordings of great sound quality and rarity! CONDITION: E+, absolutely superb copy in original sleeve!
