FRIAR TUCK AND HIS PSYCHEDELIC GUITAR -SAME- MERCURY SR 61111 1967
Recorded in '67 and produced by Curt Boettcher with a cast of studio musicians, it is essentially guitartist Mike Deasy's doing his thing thru an echoplex. Most people dismiss this record as it truly isn't a psycheelic album but it is definitely an oddity with Curt''s stamp all over it. Because of this it's kind of a wordless instrumental with vocals on it album...Strange yet still quite interesting. Highly collectable due to its rarity and who is involved here. Six Deasy originals like "All Monked Up " and "Fendabenda Ha Ha Ha" and "Where did your Mind Go" with covers of "Alley-Oop" and N. Adderly's "Work Song' , ten songs in all. Very Hard to Locate !!!!
RECORD: VG+ - High Gloss, no spindle wear,one scratch which can't be felt and a few litr scuffs otherwise Excellent
COVER: VG+ Very nice condition with minor cover wea rand lite fraying along the seam, small water stain in the front but..No ring wear, writings, stickers, writings or other damage
