This is a ONE OF THE HOLLY GRAILS OF UK MOD REVIVAL / INDIE POP / TWEE / C86 single by the band FRIDAY CLUB from 1983/1984, ORIGINAL PRESSING AND A MUST !!!
This is the LEGENDARY FIRST single by FRIDAY CLUB a year or two before signing to the 2 TONE label and releasing their one and only single, and is the only way you can get these 2 great songs !!!
This single was pressed by the band as the band's demo, pressed as a white label only with hand made picture sleeve and sent to radio stations and record companies in order to get a record deal, THIS IS ONLY THE 2ND COPY I HAVE SEEN in 26 years !!!
Not only that but the 2 songs on this single are GREAT MOD REVIVAL / INDIE POP sounding tunes and in my opinion are even better then the 2 TONE released single, WELL HERE IS YOUR ONE AND ONLY CHANCE TO OWN THIS LEGENDARY DEMO ONLY SINGLE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION AND WITH THE RARE HAND MADE P/S !!!
The single was privately pressed by the band themselves with no label name, the dead wax etchings are: SIDE 1: CHEERS H / MPO / WOSA BR2 A1 / A PORKY PRIME CUT, SIDE 2: HI FATTY / MPO / PORKY / WOSA BR 2 B1.
The songs are: WHAT IS SOUL? / TISSUE OF LIES.
The single come with the ORIGINAL HAND MADE P/S and the condition of the VINYL is in EX+++++ condition (NEAR MINT TO OTHERS - PLAYED ONCE !!!), HAND MADE THIN PAPER P/S is in EX+++ condition !!!
DON'T LET THIS RARE MOD REVIVAL / INDIE POP / TWEE / C86 single get away as you will never see another and especially not in this condition.
