Description
Very rare five-track UK EP from 1972 on the County Recording Service custom label, who were also responsible for the Levee Camp Moan albums as well as early John Otway. Lovely self-composed rural progressive folk in Northwind or Heron vein with some excellent electric guitar, although 'Tunesmith' sounds more like Angel Pavement, while 'Sunshine' is classic dreamy early 70s folk with a Fading Yellow/sunshine pop vibe. Attractive paste-on sleeve design, both cover and disc are probably in about VG condition - the disc is clean but, like so many private issues of the era, it's not a high quality pressing. Slightly crackly in places, then, but it plays well throughout without any skipping, sticking or distortion.
