Description
FUCHSIA self-titled LP folky progressive rock
UK Pegasus PEG 8 released 1971
highly sought after lp. the group was distinguished from other bands
of the era by having a 3 piece female string section. Tony Durant came
to Australia and became a Perth "suburban boy" with Dave Warner!
record is conservatively visually rated VG. There a several light marks (not scratches) on
track 2 side 1 and several more on tracks 1 &2 side 2. On Side 1 there is some very
light surface noise audible in the time between the tracks. Track 3 has this noise audible
for a few seconds at the build up at the the start and the fadeout for a few seconds.
Side 2 track 1 plays with light surface noise, whilst tracks 2 and 3 play with occasional
very light surface noise. there are 3 soft clicks in the fade out of track 3. track 4 no noise.
Cover is conservatively graded as G. There is ring wear at the top and bottom
of the sleeve both sides - see scan. there is more colour loss at the bottom than the top,
and slightly more on the back of the sleeve. There are no splits on the seams but there
is colour loss from wear on the top seam.
this is nice copy of a hard to find lp.
