We dare say this: This is a MOTHER of all Garage/Psych albums. The album represented a radical shift for the Fugs, from the political-activist first album, which could be characterized as folk songs of political protest played in a "garage" way, to this, their second album, which is an all-out electric assault on good taste and burgoisie and retarded establishment (right on, dudes!) . There would NEVER be any so-called New York Rock (Velvets, Patti Smith, Ramones, New York Dolls, Television) had the Fugs not broken that ground first. Derelicts of the world, unite!!! Finding a still sealed original copy?!?! Forget it – not even a HOPE!!! This may be the last one you will ever see.

(b)          The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(c)           Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!
