Heavy and Rare original Barbados Funk. Very much sought after, this is the Original 45, not the Reissue. The Combo was put together around 1959/1960 by Ronald Medford, originally from St Vincent. He was a businessman but loved music and wanted to be involved in the scene.  The band started out as a steel pan group but we gradually  made a transition from steel pan to guitars, bass, marimba, keyboard and percussion instruments, ending up to be the heaviest funk band from the Caribbean. Essential Island Funk.

Vinyl condition: VG - plays much better. loud pressing. a few pops at the beginning. Please listen to the audioclip and judge for yourself. Audioclip and label scan coming from actual record.

All records come from my personal collection. All records original pressings unless otherwise noted in the description above. All records come in generic white paper sleeves.
