Description

Super rare offering.  Original Gamith 45 Darkness on JSJ label.  One of the funkiest ever!  Other side is Don't Change Me -- great soulful vocal ballad with weird, but pretty quivering synthesizer.  But, you already know what it is!  This record has sold in the past for over $900, check pop sike.  Labels look good.  Visually I would grade the vinyl VG with sheen, both sides.  Old school conservative grading.  There are numerous fine scratches and some paper scuffs that do not sound.  I pictured closeups of both sides with super harsh bright unflattering lighting for full disclosure.  See pics.  As far as a sound grading I would say VG+ with great fidelity both sides.  Darkness has crackle for the first 20 seconds, then it clears up.  Don't Change Me also has crackle just for the first 5 seconds or so until the music kicks in.  Both sides play through without skipping.  Record is flat with no warping.  Scarce.  Ask any questions.  Buy with confidence, my 23rd year on eBay, people seem to like my stuff!  I have been selling rare records to collectors worldwide for over 40 years -- long before eBay  I have worked for River Records, Capital City Records, Used Kids Records, and the late Ken Stone.  FREE USA SHIPPING.
