Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the fourth LP by Funkadelic, a two-record set released in 1972. The group was a spinoff of George Clinton's Parliament. This is the first of their LPs released after the departure of several original members, most notably guitarist Eddie Hazel, and its sound is less dark than the group's earlier records, as epitomized by the single "Loose Booty"/"A Joyful Process." The textured gatefold jacket has light ring wear on the back cover; and because the cover slick inside the gatefold was affixed off center, there is some tearing along the top left edge -- EX(+). Visually, disc 1 has some staining and light scuffing, while disc 2 is clean with some fingerprints and light scuffing. The discs play with some light surface noise (which is a bit heavier on disc 1) -- EX(-). The record does not have either the poster or the booklet (the latter came with only some copies per Discogs).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
