Description
Funkadelic - Funkadelic Westbound 2000 1970
This is an original press (westbound-janus) of the first record from Funkadelic. Quite possibly their best record cause every song is a monster. It’s here that George Clinton utters the unforgettable line, "If You Will Suck My Soul, I Will Lick Your Funky Emotions!" on "Mommy, What’s A Funkadelic?" Most of them have been sampled tons of times, especially the drums and guitar on "I Bet You," and "Good Old Music" which are about as classic a pair of breaks as you will find. A must-have record for funk collectors and DJs.
Cover/Record: VG++/VG++ Cover has very slight ring wear and a couple of bends around the edges. The record has no major marks, a few paper scuffs, but nothing affects the play, ultra clean. Virtually NO surface noise!

I ship through the US. Postal Service, so you have the option of media mail or priority mailing (global if necessary). Media generally costs about half of priority, but takes twice as long. I will contact you at the end of the auction before you send payment to determine which method you want.
