Description
German DGG KL 27/32. 6LP in box “Alle Hersteller” labels.
This DGG box was released in limited edition in 1964 in remembrance of the death of Wilhelm Furtwangler 10 years before.
It contains works he recorded for DGG in the years 1944-1953. Bach: Orchestral suites, Mozart: Symphony 39, Schubert: Symphony 9, Haydn: Symphony 88, Beethoven Violin Concerto with Wolfgang Schneiderhan, violin, Schumann: Symphony 4, Bruckner: Symphony 9.
A bonus disc is added with Furtwangler talking about music.
Complete with booklet with nice photos and leaflet about Furtwangler’s talks.
Vinyl KL 29 has a few superficial scuffs and one light mark which can hardly be felt. Rating VG+
The other 5 discs are EX+/NM.
Box is EX- due to superficial paper scuff damage on back
