rare German first press and limited edition 2LP set released on PRIVATE PRESS "FURTWANGLER SOCIETY" label with catalognumber F668164/65.
Beautiful structured foldout cover with fantastic artwork and vinyl all AS NEW in perfect NEARMINT/MINT condition - vinyl looks unplayed! ... I should grade MINT but will stay conservative.
Famous performances by Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra recorded with superb audiophile soundquality... see photos.
Note: "Societe Wilhelm Furtwangler" LP issues were limited editions available to Societe members only and not sold on the open market. About 40 editions were released between 1969 and 1988; year of issue is shown in the first two digits of the serial number.There should be about 400 or 1,000 records pressed per edition"....
