Fannie Johnson Aka Viola McCoy “Back Water Blues” Very Rare 10inch On Romeo.
A very rare record indeed. Viola McCoy used the alias Fannie Johnson on Cameo records and her own name on Romeo when she sang Black Snake Blues, but here she is on Romeo using her alias. Makes you wonder what was going on at that time.
The record it self is easy to listen to. It does have some back ground greying but it’s still very playable. I listened to it completely tonight. The finish has some nice shine and some light scratches. If you listen to the copy by Viola McCoy on YouTube, this one sounds the same.
It will be packaged to arrive in great condition and it will be sporting a very good quality generic jacket (new).
