Description

An original 1972 1st press of  HILL on UK Warners. Matrix A1/B1. There's no Warners in the perimeter text and 'Made In UK' - is not exhibiting. Worth going for the 1st copies as they were pressed nice and solid. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with original inner and lyric sheet. So, we're 100% complete and 100% genuine.


Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great shape and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays very nice and clean for the most part. All I could pick out was a couple of crackles in the intro to Peculiar. 'Home' plays pretty clean with just a few crackles observable - nothing invasive. Just won't play as clean as in other tracks. Overall a terrific original example and there's little to find fault with.
Cover (Ex-) I would imagine this cover is a right pain in the derierre to find in decent condition. Only a slight hint of discolouration - MOST other copies will have deteriorated significantly more than this. Slight sticker removal trace in the top right on the front. Nice clean and flat front and rear - no signs of creasing. Hardly any edge wear and sharp openings. Fur pointy corners. Spine is 1005 intact . Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. No splits.
Lyric Sheet (Ex-) Only lightest hint of discolouration - much better than 90% of examples will be looking like.
