Description
Father's Brown were an obscure group,(with obscure punctuation!),possibly from Belgium - their record was produced for Apollo Music, Belgium - whose 1970 Decca single came out with an A side, 'Maybe' whose bubblegum-style pop song was co-written by 'Excerpt From ATeenage Opera' mastermind, Mark Wirtz, and was catchy enough, but didn't crack the charts. However, the B side with a double-meaning title, 'The Yellow Moon Is High' is now far more collectable, as it shows the band stretching out into psych-pop with some fierce guitar work giving it a standout sound. This copy has had a few plays but is basically vg+ in condition, with a few superficial but non-audible scuffs, and it comes in its original light blue and white Decca swirl sleeve.
