Description
Fats Navarro "New Sounds In Modern Music Volume 1" - Savoy MG 9005
From 1952 original deep groove label 10" LP pressing in VG condition. Glossy vinyl with a few feelable scratches, light non-sounding scuffs, plays excellent, typical early LP era background noise. A very enjoyable listen. I've included sound samples (on the audio player below) of the two areas of the record with heaviest wear. Cover is VG, moderate storage wear, top seam split 2 1/4" at opening edge, bottom center seam split 3", seam split bottom left corner 3/4". Old price sticker on front top left corner, no tears. Fats Navarro with Bud Powell, Sonny Stitt, Leo Parker, Tadd Dameron, Kenny Clarke and others. Please see images for titles.
I've been a record collector since 1976 and a dealer for over 20 years. I grade fairly and honestly using the Goldmine grading standards for vinyl and VJM grading for shellac (78's). I use new record mailers and protect the album cover and vinyl (separated in a poly sleeve to avoid seam splits) with 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 corrugated pads. Please check my feedback for many satisfied customers.
