Fela Kuti Sorrow Tears and Blood LP rare Record Store Day RSD 2013 version NEW

Fela Kuti - Sorrow Tears and Blood LP on Kalakutu Sunrise/Knitting Factory. This is the rare Record Store Day 2013 version with the original cover and the original extended version of Sorrow Tears and Blood on the A-side and Perambulator on the B-side.

The A-side was achieved using rare original LP cuts to restore 2 missing sections from the more commonly known EU and UK release Black President. Several steps were necessary to match the timing, phase, azimuth and tonal qualities to produce a seamless join.

All of the above is unique to the RSD version and is not duplicated on the current retail Knitting Factory version of the album.

This is one my archive copies, meaning the album has been unsealed and the record placed in an audiophile inner sleeve and outer resealable sleeve. The record has not been played (guaranteed). It is in "as new" condition.

This will be mailed in a special "frustration-free" type LP mailer with extended edges so that your record arrives in the same condition as when I ship it.

ABOUT US

UPDATE!! Out of necessity, we are currently liquidating our huge, immaculately curated music collection. Please check our other auctions for rare metal, new wave, punk, prog and indie vinyl, CDs, DVDs, books and collectibles. As the weeks progress, we will continue to add more rarities. This is a one of a kind collection, and all of it has been sourced over the years either by buying brand new items or paying special attention to used condition. In many instances our records have never been played or even unsealed. We are also serious audiophiles, so in many cases our items are not just collectible, but the best existing issue of the recording.
