Quick Wiki: Expensive Shit is the twelfth full-length album by Afrobeat pioneer Fela Ransome Kuti and his Africa 70 band. It was ranked #78 on Pitchfork Media's "Top 100 Albums of the 1970s". The title of the album refers to an incident in which the Nigerian police tried to arrest Kuti by planting a joint on him. Kuti managed to eat the joint, prompting police to bring him into custody and wait for him to produce the excrement. According to legend he managed to use another inmate's feces and was eventually released.

EX: (Excellent): Minimal signs of use/storage; considered top shelf quality. Jackets may have very light wear; vinyl may have a few sleeve marks only visible in bright light. Sounds full & clear, with minor (if any) background noise from usage.

VG+: (Very Good Plus): A great looking copy with a bit more wear. Jacket may have some ringwear or seamwear. Vinyl may have some light scuffs or scratches, but nothing deep; sounds great with minimal noise.

VG: (Very Good): A great copy but clearly used; Jacket may have splits and wear, but still stable and useful.  Vinyl has hairline scuffs or scratches and plays well within toleration; no skips or warping

Good: Used / worn copy. Cover has tears, splits, writing, or other issues.  Vinyl scuffed or scratched, but still plays well despite audible background noise.

Fair: Doesn’t look or play well; filler copy (just so you have one until you can trade up).
