Description
Felt
Early prog/blues with a nice helping of psychedelic thrown in. This is a reissue of a lost obscure classic which is almost as rare as the original pressing. Still-sealed, with 180g tag affixed to shrinkwrap. The jacket has a couple of songs and the shrink is separating on the back. This is a sealed, never opened and obviously never played. Presumed Mint (M).
Please ask questions and see photos prior to bidding. Thanks for the interest.
180 GRAM REISSUE of the Nasco Release from 1971.
"Felt was formed in Alabama in the late '60s around the talents of Myke Jackson (guitars), Mike Neel (drums), Tommy Gilstrap (bass), Stan Lee (guitars), and Allan Dalrymple (keyboards). The band's self-titled album, released on the small Nasco label in 1971, contains half-a-dozen original songs written for the most part by Jackson.
The mostly blues-styled songs on this album are full of great guitar work and contain fine Beatles-esque harmony vocals.
While most of this album has a blues feeling to it, some of the songs hint of progressive rock with swirling keyboards, intense drumming, and blistering guitar solos. The album has recently been discovered for its musical excellence and has become a very rare collectors' item. Guitarist Lee would later go on to become a member of punk band the Dickies in the late '70s."

Record grating:
Mint (M) sealed, presumed in mint condition.
Near Mint (NM) record has only been played a handful of times and should be free of marks or scratches. Ideally, it will look like it’s been played but with care and put away safely.
Excellent (EX) Same as above except possibly a few inaudible and superficial marks or light scratches or dings. There will be evidence of use.
Very Good Plus (VG+) Possibly a few crackles or pops, a few more light scratches and or scuffs. Will have visible and obvious signs of enjoyment but nothing deep or compromising to the vinyl.
Very Good (VG) visually apparent issues, should be expected but still a very enjoyable spin.
Good Plus (G+) Vinyl may have pops, clicks, scratches and marks should be
expected.
Good (G) Undesirable for some. VERY obvious Issues. Buy at your own risk, absolutely no returns. SOLD AS IS.
Anything below the above rating, I rate Worn (W) heavy scratches, marks, rubs and/or Possibly warped… Again, SOLD AS IS.
As far sleeves go, I try to make sure the photos illustrate it as best as it can.
