[Item Description] Very early Augustov - ardent impassioned singing

Feodor Augustov. baritone

This baritone probably made his debut in 1899. In 1905 and 1908-1910 he sang in opera theatres and operettas in St. Petersburg (Theatre ''Passage'', ''Buff'', New Summer Theatre). He also appeared in Kharkov (‘’Company of opera singers’’, 1904-1905, 1918-1919), Ekaterinburg and Perm (1905-1906), Kiev (1906-1907, 1911-1912), Odessa (1906-1907), Nizhny Novgorod (1916), Kazan (1918-1919), Moscow (1917-1918), Ekaterinoslav (1913-1914, 1929). He appeared in operas ‘’Pagliacci’’, ‘’Demon’’, ‘’Samson et Dalila’’, ‘’Carmen’’, ‘’Un ballo in maschera’’, ‘’La Traviata’’. His recordings are very rare.
